Thank you to all who showed up for Isadora’s best birthday yet. We enjoyed the time we spent with all of those we know and those we met. Those of you who took the time out to share this first milestone with her will be remembered always!

Birthdays! Picnic this Sunday the 21st at Dolores Park! RSVPlease June 16, 2009

Isadora is turning the big 01 and Michelle will be a moldy 29. Yep that’s right…. kept our little monkey alive for almost a full year now. Michelles clocked in quite a few hours on this old rock too. We’ll be celebrating for both with a little picnic/pot luck in Dolores Park on Sunday. Still not sure about the exact time, but when you RSVP let us know when you think you can make it.

Beachbound May 2, 2009

A couple weeks ago we had our first beach day down south near Pescadero at Gazos Creek. We baptized her toes in the Pacific for the first time and apart from being startled by the cold, she loved it. She found the sand absolutely fascinating as well, at one point even licking some off her hand. Turns out it feels better between your toes than on your tongue. Oh well. Live and learn.

On a side note we’ve decided that we quite like the idea of having a little beach baby and plan on raising our mischievous little monkey somewhere close to the ocean. Santa Cruz perhaps? I’ve included a little map in case you’re bored and want to take a little aerial tour.

Not sure if it’s the sunshine or or what, but this little monster was on a tear today. The cabinet locks are officially in place and the gates will be assembled tomorrow. :-)

We needed an overnight to escape the frustrated insanity of the city and workday life. Sometimes we end up here.

First Swim

isa-swim-2

Took her over to Sam and Alejo’s place for a swim today. She took to it like a, well…. you know the saying. We bounced around, did some laps, had a little dunk, stuck our toes in the hot tub and sat on the steps in the sunshine watching others splash around. She handled it like a champ and impressed me as always.
